I am currently obsessing over a staple in my wardrobe: the nude pump.
Everyone should own a great pair.
I have a personal fondness for patent leather, peep-toe, sling-backs. My standbys meet this description. However, I have worn them to death and need a new pair.
Unfortunately, Nine West only made these beauties for one season.
In fashion, if you find a basic you love BUY MORE. It will always disappear if you don't.
Then I stumbled upon the most beautiful replacement (and upgrade).

I also love the basic pump.

And the fashion basic.

Pour La Victoire has taken over the nude shoe No. 1 spot. Former favorites: Brian Atwood, Alexander McQueen, and Giuseppe Zanotti (still in the running).

A lovely shoe, though, I would prefer a true peep instead of this mini version.
And for a romantic twist. Valentino.

The picture doesn't do them justice.
It wouldn't be right to not mention YSL and Christian Louboutin. I simply couldn't find the right pictures to represent my loves.
These Steve Maddens may be a more affordable option, but they completely lack the aesthetic of the designer brands.

I say spend the extra money on the Pour La Victoires - a happy balance between Steve and the others.
Oh my god, shoes.
